Organisation of the event

The event was organised by Sitecore in Düsseldorf city center. The morning part of the event was dedicated to the partners and Sitecore sharing updates from Symposium. 

The afternoon programme promised ½ a day full of experience, exciting insights into AI and personalization = DX Turbo, and ACTUM & Christie’s customer case on the stage. We started the afternoon part of the Sitecore City Tour Stop event with a relaxed networking lunch at Hyatt Regency. Later, we dived into the newest trends in digital experience and best practices, and ended the day with drinks, music, finger food, and inspiring conversations.In the evening, there was a cozy networking session.

The client stakeholders attending the event had exclusive access to:

• concentrated digital experience knowledge and hottest MarTech trends,
• insights into updates from Sitecore Symposium & exclusive insights into the Sitecore roadmap,
• exciting DX best practices and case studies from leading companies,

After a warm welcome by Simon Putzer and the introduction of Thomas G. Andersen as the new Area VP, there has been a wrap-up on information on products and roadmap announced at the Sitecore Symposium and presented at this event by Roger Connolly and Paul Brennan.

• Generative UI: The New Era of FrontEnd Web Experience by Julian Eckerle, Vercel

The absolute highlight of the event was a shared case of Natalia Voinova, representing our customer Christie's, and Radek Zíma, Head of Client Service at ACTUM Digital. During the session, Natalia and Radek explained how Christie’s is leveraging AI within Sitecore to make the content editor’s life a bit easier.

 

Also, Christie’s is very dedicated to delivering accessible digital experiences to its customers. ACTUM implemented a solution using Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services integrated into Sitecore XP to create an automated AI-powered mechanism that creates image tags and metadata in the blink of an eye.

 

Summarising the event

The event was a big success and a great chance to reconnect with the Sitecore team and meet our clients in person. After all the sessions were over, we were excited to have more discussions in a smaller circle during the Networking Reception sponsored by ACTUM Digital, the event sponsor.
