DevSecOps Consultant

About the job 

As a DevSecOps Consultant, you will play a critical role in integrating security into the software development life cycle (SDLC) and ensuring security measures are embedded into every stage of DevOps processes. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to automate security, reduce risks, and maintain continuous security posture throughout the product delivery pipeline. Your expertise will ensure applications are developed, tested, and deployed with the highest security standards while supporting agile and DevOps methodologies. You will also take part in implementing advanced security solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of security measures together within the consulting team (SSDLC).
• Implementation of XDR solutions: deployment, configuration and management of XDR platforms (Microsoft, Sentinel One).
• Infrastructure security consulting:
  • Designing solutions and recommendations to ensure the IT/OT Infrastructure Security.
  • Deployment and configuration of security tools like Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne.
  • Vulnerability scanning and management (Tenable). Result analysis and verification.
• Collaborate with client IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development life cycle (SDLC) using DevSecOps practices.

What we expect:

• Deep interest in IT security and motivation to develop further in the field and improve.
• Work experience (4+ years combined) in one or preferably more of the following technical positions:
  • System Administrator (ideally with MS Azure knowledge)
  • End-point Operator
  • DevOps Engineer
  • Solution Architect
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of security configurations in cloud environments.
• Understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve security issues.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and other security appliances.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (both in CZ and EN; German is a plus).
• Relevant work experience in IT security and relevant certifications are an advantage.
